Focus Workshops
Focus workshops are designed to deep dive into a specific area of functioning (e.g., assertiveness, organization and productivity, etc.), explaining it across all 3 Foundation levels (Emotion, Thought, and Action) with specific skills suggested for each level and, when appropriate, exploration of additional Model levels (e.g., Biology, Boundaries, or Environment). Unlike Free Play workshops, Focus workshops are highly structured and skill-focused.
Assertiveness
Assertiveness refers to a specific style of communication that balances the wants, needs, and respect for the self with those of others. This workshop breaks down assertiveness across multiple conceptual levels:
- Emotion: Roles of Fear + Anger
- Thought: Control + Responsibility
- Action: Assertive Communication
- Boundaries: Types + How to Set
Productivity + Burnout
Another common concern, productivity and burnout are often intimidating concepts that can negatively impact our lives if not navigated strategically. This workshop tackles common components in organization and time management struggles:
- Connecting Emotion + Motivation
- Cognitive Biases + Reframing Task Priorities
- Identifying Behavioral Cycles of Procrastination
- Boundaries + Burnout
…
Stay tuned for additional Focus workshops related to other areas of functioning in the future!
